Accreditation is available for this conference through a number of national organisations. We can provide a certificate of attendance for delegates from other organisations. See links below for further information:

CEUs

We are pleased to be able to offer a maximum of 2.0 RID Continuing Education Units for this conference. These will be offered at no extra cost to delegates.

CEUs can be earned in three possible ways:

1) by making postings in the debates around the papers. Postings are worth 0.2 CEUs.

and/or

2) by submitting scenarios for the dilemma session. Scenarios are worth 0.2 CEUs.

and/or

3) writing a summary of a discussion after the conference is over (the conference is open for a further month after discussions end). This is worth 1.2 CEUs and this can be supplemented with postings or dilemmas.

Delegates get more detailed guidance and we offer help and support during the conference for those attending for the first time.

We are also happy to provide a certificate of attendance for other professional bodies.

PEPNet-South is an Approved RID CMP Sponsor for Continuing Education Activities. This Professional Studies program is offered for 2.0 CEUs at the “some” Content Knowledge Level.

1) Educational objectives

This conference aims to increase the knowledge and practice of interpreters through reading/watching and discussing with others the topics outlined in the programme.

2) Target audience

This conference is aimed at interpreters, note-takers, communication support workers, d/Deaf people, support services co-ordinators, interpretet trainers and any other professionals working with d/Deaf people.

2) Cancellation policy

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase of a conference place within seven working days of the day the place is purchased. However, if you have used your login, we are unable to provide a refund.

3) Reasonable accommodations

Please let us know if you require any reasonable accommodations in order to participate in the conference. Please note that the conference environment, Web Crossing, is section 508 compliant.

Please note that the conference language is English, which some papers provided in sign language (with an English transcript). We are unable to provide sign language interpretation for the papers or discussions due to the many different sign languages used by participants.
