A practitioner uses an iPod to record their lecture or seminar, this is then distributed via the VLE for students to download onto their portable audio devices to listen when they want to.
The mp3 file could also be burnt to CD for listening to in the car or at home.
It could be delivered in conjunction with printed handout or a series of images.
Most modern phones can both play mp3 files and show images.
