What are your key aims in relation to mobile learning?
The key aims are:
- To provide advice and guidance to practitioners on how to convert and present content for mobile devices.
- To provide simple mechanisms to allow learners to download the relevant content from the VLE and copy to their device.
- To provide a range of learning scenarios (learning design) that incorporates the use of mobile devices.
We are not looking at delivered the VLE over a mobile device as though some of the devices have wireless internet access or mobile internet access, this is not accessible unless you have wireless access or pay for mobile internet.
This is much more about delivering personalised learning experiences from the VLE which can then be downloaded or transferred to a mobile device and used at a time and a place to suit the learner.
